What is TET?

Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is a teacher eligibility examination conducted by the appropriate government or examination authority. TET is used as part of the teacher eligibility/recruitment framework for the applicable school levels and recruitment rules.

At the national level, CTET is conducted by CBSE, while States/UTs may conduct their own TET examinations according to the applicable rules. NCTE provides the framework and minimum qualification notifications for teachers. citeturn0search0turn0search2
