What is SSC CGL?

The Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) Examination is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for recruitment to various Group B and Group C posts in different Ministries, Departments, organisations and offices of the Government of India.

The examination is conducted for graduates who meet the eligibility conditions prescribed in the latest SSC CGL notification.

Eligibility

Requirement General Information

Paper-II is applicable to candidates for posts for which the Statistics paper is prescribed under the latest SSC CGL scheme.

Tier-II Paper-III тАФ General Studies (Finance & Economics)

Economics Basic economic concepts, demand and supply, production, national income and economic development.
Indian Economy Structure of the Indian economy, public finance, monetary system and major economic policies.

Accounting Basic principles of accounting, financial statements and fundamental accounting concepts.

Selection Process

Tier-I

Computer-based objective examination covering Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English.

Tier-II

Computer-based examination with Paper-I and applicable additional papers/modules according to the latest scheme.
